Mr. K Kunhiraman was won from Trikkaripur Legislative Assembly at 2011 kerala assemby election. He was the candidate of Communist Party of India(Marxist), which is the part of Left Democratic Front. KV Gangadharan was the Runner up, he was the Candidate of Indian National Congress, which is the Part of United Democratic Front.
