KANNUR is the one of the Legislative Assembly Constituency in Kerala.In 2011 Assembly election Indian National Congress (UDF) candidate A.P Abdulla Kutty Defeat Socialist Congress (LDF) Candidate Kadannappally Ramachandran with the margin of 6443 Votes. National Democratic Alliance (BJP) Candidate Mr. U T Jayanthan got 3rd place with 4568 Votes. Social Democratic Party of India candidate P.C Noushad (4th place with 2538 Votes) BSP candidate S. Noorudheen (226 Votes).
