Mr. Shripat Amrit Dange was the opposition leader of Loksabha in 1951 - 1957. He was won from Bombay City North as a candidate of Communist Party of India (CPI). CPI was the Second Largest Party in the Loksabha at 1951, CPI secured only 16 seats with 3.29% Polled Votes.
