2011 Kerala Legislative Assembly election - Mr TV Rajesh was won from Kalliasseri Legislative Constituency with the margin of 29946 votes. He was the candidate of Communist Party of India (Marxist) which is the part of Left Democratic Front. In 2014 LDF candidate Mr. P Karunakaran got first place in Kalliasseri Legislative assembly with 71205 votes. Mr T siddique was the Runner up with 48423 Votes and K surendran NDA candidate got third place with 10578 votes.
