Koothupparamba one is the Legislative Assembly Constituency in Kannur district, Kerala. In 2011 Legislative Assembly Election Socialist Janata - Democratic (United Democratic Front) Candidate K.P Mohanan S/o P.R Kurup won from the koothuparamb Legislative Assembly with the margin of 3303 Votes. Indian National League - Left Democratic Front Supporting Candidate Sayed Alavi Puthiya veetil became runner up.Bharatiya janata party Candidate (NDA) O.K Vasu got third place.
