Dharmadam is the one of the Legislative Assembly Constituency in Kannur district, Kerala. In 2011 Legislatice Assembly Election Communist Party of India (Marxist), which is the part of Left Democratic Front candidate Mr. K.K Narayanan won from Dharmadam LAC with the margin of 15162 Votes. Mambram Divakaran became Runner up with 57192 Votes and National Democratic Alliance (BJP) candidate got C.P Sangeetha (3rd place with 4963 Votes) and Bahujan Samaj Party Candidate S. Madhu Vayanan got 797 votes.
